Overview

Emmaus Development LLC publishes open-source specs and apps, and builds and looks after systems for businesses. These terms cover use of this website. Paid work is governed by a written agreement, which wins over anything here.

Open source

Capsule Base, RouterLM, ScopeGuard, BusinessPro, FlexTime and MD Tune-Up are published under the MIT license. Their license files govern them: use them, change them, sell setups on them.

Installs and care

Capsule Base and Tend8 installs, and the Signal Mornings add-on, are priced per business after a discovery, with scope, price and timing confirmed in writing before work starts. The discovery's price is agreed before it starts, and the full fee credits toward the first work from the proposal if that work is agreed within 60 days. The Care Plan is monthly and optional.

Who owns what

You own your data, always. Code published under MIT is yours on MIT terms. A Tend8 install runs on your hardware for as long as you like, with or without the Care Plan, and the setup made for your business is yours. General methods, patterns and know-how remain ours to use again.

Confidentiality

Client data, project details and system access are confidential. We share them only with your permission or where the law requires it.

Liability

Everything is provided as-is. For any claim about a specific project, our liability is limited to what was paid for that project. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or business interruption.
