AI that runs your operation, on hardware you own
I build AI into a business the way a system should be built: on your own data, next to what you already run, on your own hardware or your own cloud — a setup you control. Nothing gets replaced, and with local models nothing has to leave the building. I've built the systems businesses run on since 1990 — this is that, with AI inside.
The part that's hard
AI made it feel like anyone can automate a department. The demo works; the thing falls over in production. Making a system actually run — on real data, reliably, with the guardrails a business needs — is a different job, and it's the one I've done for more than thirty years.
What it does
Three things, on one copy of your records.
- Ask it anything. Questions the way you'd ask a person, answered from your own records, with the records it used so you can check. It remembers your business: your documents, your data, your decisions.
- It watches, and tells you. A morning brief, task tracking, scheduling, and a nudge when something needs you — a late invoice, a quote going cold, a job over its estimate. How the department runs stops living only in your head.
- It stays running. It routes across AI models and recovers from errors, so it doesn't go dark. It checks its own work, and nothing that matters happens without the approvals you set.
How it's built
- Local or cloud, your choice. The same system either way: it runs on your own hardware, or in your own cloud account. The workflow doesn't change — I recommend the setup and the models for the job.
- Your data stays yours. A copy of your records lives on the engine, refreshed on a schedule. Run it local and nothing leaves the building; run it in your cloud and it's still your account and your data.
- Multi-agent. Agents that do real work across a department, not a chatbot bolted on the side.
- Connected to what you have. Documents, databases, your accounting or CRM, APIs, the tools you already use. If it can export, it can connect.
- People stay in charge. Access controls and approvals are built in. The AI does the work and proposes; a person decides what matters.
See it working
I would rather show you than tell you. Here is a whole motor-repair shop running on it, built on real, anonymized shop data:
- Look up any motor and see its full service history, tests, and teardown-to-rebuild photos.
- Ask the shop's data a question — failures, test readings, which customers send repeat work.
- Read the morning brief: what's on the bench, what's blocked, what's due in.
- Price a job from past work, and print the service certificate.
How we would work together
A short paid discovery maps it against the systems you already run and settles the scope. A flat-rate build comes off that, so you know the number before I start. Then I keep it running. I own the stack end to end, so there is no vendor to lock you in.
